Nichola Fletcher, MBE

Nichola Fletcher leads three lives. She is a designer and maker of bespoke, handmade pieces of jewellery and silverware. She lives in Scotland and also runs Europe’s first deer farm with her husband John. She is also a food writer: she’s written over ten books ranging from caviar to oats, with venison and game her speciality. So she teaches these subjects as well, and gives cooking demonstrations. In all three lives she has won many awards.

BESPOKE, HANDMADE JEWELLERY

Nichola has been designing jewellery for forty years so she knows what makes people love a piece of jewellery that has been specially designed for them. She is happy to upcycle old pieces of jewellery into something new and unique. Her work ranges from rings, earrings, necklaces, brooches, boxes and cufflinks, to replicas for museums and other corporate pieces. Nichola loves making special jewellery for men.

Individually Designed & One-off Pieces

Working closely with her clients, Nichola encourages a two-way involvement in the design process which many find an enriching experience. Some clients know what they want, others have no idea at all but want something made for a special occasion. Often clients bring old or broken pieces to be reused in a contemporary setting. No two designs are the same; each one is a unique custom-made piece. Nichola lives in Fife, Scotland.

Demonstrations & Food Events

Nichola is keen to hand on the knowledge she has gained. She does this through cookery demonstrations and specialist workshops. She also holds unique tutored game tastings where participants will experience 15-20 different kinds of game during a fascinating and delicious evening. Nichola and John also host farm visits with a venison lunch, or tea, coffee and home made cakes for groups using recipes from Nichola’s books.
